If you don't have these gears already... GET SOME NOW!!!
The car feels like it dropped 400 pounds. Getting up to speed is much more fluid, and fun!!!
Further proof?... Look in the kill section and look for "Firehawk edges out Yamaha R1"
I don't think the race would have turned out that way if it weren't for the gears. Also I murdered an Evo ysterday, but I haven't posted that one.. the bike run was more fun.

So you just installed a set of 4.10's in your 10 bolt? I want to do that to mine, but I was just afraid of grenading something

It MIGHT grenade.. but... oh well.
BTW- that thread in the kill section turned ugly. I guess it wasn't and R1 because I got totally flamed over it.. must have been an R6, but the outcome was there. Beat a bike.... fun too.

A win is a win in my book. I've ridden an R6 and they aren't slouches by any means. The biggest killer on my car is the gear right now. I have got a 3.23 gear and with my cam setup I just have all sorts of bog down low in the rpm range. I can't wait until the day I get to call Moser up and make a 12 bolt purchase!

An ASP pulley will help you down low... worth the money.

Looking at your sig you most likely have a pulley already. If you have 3.23's then I know you have an auto. I think a 3,200 rpm stall converter would be the better choice before gears. The converter actually multiplies torque to the transmission input shaft. So it's a win/ win deal. You stall to higher up in the rpm range where your cam wants to be and you get a torque boost!!!

Which gears did you use? I plan on installing some 4.30 Iszuzu gears.

I didn't buy the gears. I bought the entire housing with the gears loaded already from 69TA on the for sale section. Paid $550 shipped and sold my stock carrier to someone else for $110 shipped. Got it delivered, wirebrushed the heavy rust off, Rustoleom paint, and spend all day Saturday bolting the assembly in place. The gears are Motives.

I know what you mean with the gears. I wouldn't trade my 4.10s for anything. In my book what you lose top end is well worth what you gain on the bottom end. My dad has 4.10s in his '78 F350. I always loved the acceleration with the 460 pushing it. When I found my WS6 and saw that it came with 4.10s I was all for it.

Whats first gear?
