Matt, it's a wideband sensor like a dyno has so you can pull your Air/Fuel ratio. Except with this set up you can mount it in your car permanatly. The LC-1 is a permanent in car real time A/F ratio gauge. But with the LM-1 you can watch real time A/F ratios, or record them so you can upload them into your PC/Lap top to check out with the graph looks like. The LM-1 also has accesories to record other data or match the A/F ratio to RPM instead of time. Very usefull tool, I log every single pass with mine.

BTW: those are some damn good prices.

LM1 is a great product. A couple more things it can do; you can remote mount lm1 (glove box?) and live data log to your lap top, while also having a gauge permantly mounted. You can also log to your LM1 things such as rpm, fuel press, n2o pressure etc. Very versitile. Here's a pic with the opitonal window mount (will be moved later to glove box).

$268 LC-1 with our billet round digital gauge.
$248 LC-1 with a square gauge.
Check them out at http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...idcategory=118
The gauges look great and work even better

yes a laptop. you can also use our gauge combo and you would not need a laptop as the package comes pre-programed.

One more thing for laptop guys. You can data log LM1 directly into your HP Tuner in place of your narrow band, HPT is set-up already for the lm1, you just need the correct cable input on your HPT cable. This is different than using your LM1 Log Works to live data log onto laptop.

Not for sure on the lc1, but the LM1 uses a serial connector or you go serial to USB to laptop. You then use the supplied software that comes with lm1-logworks. If you want to log directly into HP Tuner then you have to send back (or order it that way) the htp cable and they will set it up for the lm1 input.

For my Camaro with cats and SLP headers, where is the best location to weld the bung fitting and route wiring? I assume it is best not to use cats and mount it in the larger pipe after where both pipes merge?

serial cable is used to program the lc-1. the lc1 comes with all the cables you need.
mount the bung near the header collector to get a good sample of all cyl on that bank. it really works great anywhere in the exhaust.
