Default Axles arrived damaged, 1BAD86Z28 solved it......

Fed Ex dropped the box a few times . One axle was poking out of the box, but the splines looked fine so I opened it up. BOTH backing plates are bent and scuffed up . I talked with the person who shipped them to me and we will see if Fed Ex will come pick them up and send them back so new backing plates can be purchased and pressed on the axles.
On a good note; the center section, torque arm bracket, and housing all are here in good order. The axles was all I was waiting on .
Oh well we will have it straightened out soon enough. Maybe Fed Ex needs to start sending 2 people in every truck to insure stuff does not get dropped .

If he added insurance, tell him to make a claim with fedex. I had that happen when I shipped a pair of running boards from TX to WA state, and he got them and the edges of them snapped. FedEx had it resolved in 4 weeks which I heard was a great time span.

If he didnt add insurance, then thats between you and him, but good luck on getting it resolved.

OK, axles arrived Friday, and they are in great shape !! They even have NEW GM backing plates and emergency brake components!!!! Scott at Driveline Solutions got me the new components and did not charge me one cent !!
That is some kickass customer support when the problem was not really even his.
Big kudos to Scott and Driveline Solutions
