Default Dyno #'s in before/after mods

Well, just had a few parts installed on my 01 TA WS6. Figured I would share my info as I find it interesting when other people post what works and what doesn't. All runs made on a Dynojet Chassis Dyno.

Baseline (Stock as stock can be). 318RWHP/331RWTQ

After Mods: 348 RWHP/365 RWTQ

Not bad for these mods, sounds wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better too, they way a car should sound.

only 30whp and 34tq after LTs, ORY, Catbacl, Lid, and tune?

Is it just me, or it's not that much of a gain... I'd expect full exhaust give at least 35-40whp.

It doesn't "give" anything, it just frees up horse power that the motor was unable to produce at the time because of restrictions. His numbers are very on par for his mods.

Well, the numbers that he has right now are pretty good, BUT I don't think that 30whp gain after all the work he's done is decent. I lot of people gain 20whp just from LID and a catback, but then again he had good numbers to start with. Maybe he had a SLP stuff on his car stock?

Yeah, gains could be a lil higher but I bet it will pick up a lot at the track.

That's exactly it.....They are bolt ons to help the engine breath....When ya do heads etc...That' s a whole different story as you are changing the mechanics of the engine. It feels a lot better in the seat of the pants meter...First gear feels like it actually wants to break my tires loose, and going around corners in second gear it's easier to spin em. The shift light is a good idea too. My recommendations of these mods as being the first on any stock car. Of course, it's all I could afford.

Those numbers are inline with stock LS1 car, Here is the dyno for my wife's 00 Z28 the only non-stock part is a K&N filter.

Your car probably has a bit more potential once you start to get the intake and exhaust freed up. Because you have a LS6 intake. But otherwise your numbers look good.
