I want to know if you have one of these and if you are happy with it. And also you can let me know if you are on stock master or another type like mcleod adjustable.If you are not happy let me now why.

 

Still in break-in period, car is actually back on jackstands for a 9" install. More than happy so far with the clutch though. Feels like stock and no chatter. As long as it holds, it'll be a GREAT clutch.

Still breaking in, I removed the Mcleod adjustable and put my stockmaster back in, The clutch pedal presure is great.

 

good pedal pressure, good engagement point. drives great and grip like sob
over 2500 miles

 

Stock master. Pedal is slightly harder than stock. Decent engagement point. Barely any chatter. Only have 300 miles on it. Grabs very well.

Pedal is slightly lighter than stock. With over 1,500 miles on the clutch it is as broken in as I expect it to be. Drives great and grabs great! There is some chatter if I'm not real careful with the release at launch. Also chatters if I am cruising slowly with the clutch released, and rengage without rev matching. I think this just the nature of an aftermarket clutch that doesn't slip like the stocker.

I give it an A+ so far!

 

They checked up on me a week after the install.
I am broken in.
Clutch grabs like a *****, yet I can modulate the clutch so good I can pull the car thru a few gears with no gas even on my cammed car.....

I'm at about 475 miles now and just started driving it a bit harder. I get a bit of chatter maybe 1 out of 5 times, but its more technique then anything - i have a habit of not feeding in enough throttle sometimes. Other than that the clutch its a beauty! Probably going racing Sunday for the first time, we'll put it to the test that day and see what happens.

Ive had my clutch for awhile now, been to the track and it performs perfectly. stock like feel but grips very strong

 

Umm wish the two unhappy guys would come in and say whats wrong ? So far its looking good but still 2 are not happy campers..

 

I'm curious as to why some people mention "breaking the clutch in"? One thing I noticed on Textralia's website was that this clutch needed no break-in.

 

they told me to consider going easy for 200 miles

 

maybe it does not need to be break in, but just for the piece of mind. i always break in my stuff properly. rather safe than sorry.

 

I cant answer yet since I've only put about 250 miles on it. Started off with chatter, worse than the spec 2 I had before it. The chatter is going away slowly so I'm not too concerned.... yet.

Clutch spring is lighter than the spec 2 and maybe a tad lighter than oem. Engagement point is a little higher than my last two clutches, but I will make due with it.

 

After about 200/250 miles it was launch city and haven't stopped yet. I have probably close to 50 launches and love it. I am at 5000rpm basically a clutch dump, I can't go any higher till I get sticker tires. Been blasting it with a dual stage n2o hit and it holds everything I can throw at it. Wed night I got two back to back new ET bests. Their customer service is second to no one. I had Pete from Aussie land checking up on my progress and Jeff called also and E-mailed many times to make sure everything was ok. Imo, there isn't a better street/strip clutch out there. They don't treat you like the state side clutch companys, meaning: you used our race clutch at the drag strip, that's your problem we don't cover racing with our race clutches.

This clutch couldn’t be better – great feel and once you let it out, the crank might as well be welded to the input shaft.

I’ve tossed over 500 RWHP and ~600 torque at it with no slips what so ever.

 

Just had NLperformance install it. It grabs too low. Will take some getting used to. Second and third seem to be getting harder to find. About 50 miles now. Seems like it may not be releasing completely?

 

I haven't received mine yet, but any engagement problem seems like an adjustment issue that the shop who did the install should take care of. If the clutch made funny noises, didn't hold, etc., I would be worried. If it just catches too high or low, I would make the shop fix it.
