Stock CTSv runs 12s!! A few weeks ago, My nieghbor's cousin took his CTSv to the strip. CTSv was bone stock except for anti-wheel hop and 275 DRs on stock rims. I was very impressed with the car. He ran a total of 3 runs first 13.3, then 13.0 and then hit a jaw dropping 12.803@110.22. Thats C5 territory. Very impressive. We did a few highway runs and I was just amazed, passing power and top-end reminded me of a Modded Trans Am I earlier ran with. On the way home he told me he lined up with a chipped EVO from a 45 mph roll and put at least 4 cars on him by 120ish MPH. He also told me that he raced earlier against a 370RWHP Supra from a dig and said how close of a race it was. I was not expecting this heavy lux-sedan to hit similar numbers I did when my 03 Cobra was stock. I have a scanned copy of the time slip for those who want to see it. What do most guys out here get?

I just got my V yesterday, I would be interested in seeing the time slip...also, how well did the 275s fit? I was debating on getting 275s but since the 245s fill the rim as much as they do...I thought 275s would dognut too much.

First off that is a very impressive run, congratulations to him.. 
I would love to see the times slip to compare it with one of mine to see how he is running. And what was his 60' time on that run???

275s fit without a problem. I've seen people put 315 DR on stock 9.0inch cobra wheels, now that looks a little overdone. His looked fine. Give me your e-mail addresses so I can send you the time slip.

Stock is indeed relative...when it shouldn't be!
But I would accept his definition of stock...as the mods are only helping to eliminate a known factory flaw...and take driver ability out by adding better traction.

i still cant see a cadillac trying to be a sports car they still are a luxury car to me.seems if you wanted to race you would just buy a z06.but to each his own.

(IMO)That is why I bought mine, for a sleeper, and it is all luxury on the inside.
Even got rid of the Z06 for this car.
