Default Dextron III for me

About a month ago I decided to get a transmission flush and try out the new Dextron VI tranny fluid. I put the new fluid in and I could tell a difference immediately! The car felt slower! I just went and had the Dextron III put back in and the car responds like it use to. The dealership said the new Dextron VI was compatible, but I'll stick with the old stuff from now on!

Thats really strange. I wonder if its a thicker fluid, or somehow caused your trans to slip?

That's really odd ... did you see the fluid being poured? I wonder if it's higher viscosity and kept your TC from spinning up the motor as fast.

It shifted and locked up like normal. The car was not as strong as before. I can definitely tell the difference now! I did not see the dextron VI poured in. The dealer has two different places where they do fluid changes. I could'nt see my car. I know they gave me a hassle on the price of the new fluid!
