Thumbs up Are 346 Shortblock,JPR S2 heads,Grot LT headers

$1800 plus shipping OBO. Shortblock has JE pistons with 2cc valve reliefs and stock rods with ARP rod bolts. About 20K miles on engine, mostly street use. No nitrous. Just a handful of track passes. Passed a compression test with good numbers- 205-210 on all cylinders.

I also have a set of JPR stage 2 LS1 (241) ported heads if anyone is interested. 2.02" intake and 1.55" exhaust valves. Fairly new Crane dual valvesprings. No flow numbers, but heads did make 420 RWHP, 400 RWTQ with a TR 224/224 112 LSA cam. $750 OBO plus shipping.

Grotyohann 1 3/4" LT headers (used)- in good shape, but with some surface rust. $200 plus shipping.

I need to get rid of this stuff. Need help paying for my new 408.

TTT....prices reduced again. Prices are negotiable. I know ARE's reputation is not the greatest, but this shortblock is solid.

Sorry, don't have any way to post pics. Heads are at Carolina Auto Masters in Durham, NC. Jeff Creech can vouch for the quality of the heads and the power numbers they made on his dyno. He can be reached at 919-680-3966. The heads have been reworked by a local porter, new valve job, and new valve springs. Jeff can tell you more if you are interested- he can probably get you some pictures, too.

The headers tuck up nice and tight- I had no clearance problems with my SLP Eibach springs. Yes, they are LS1 headers. Jeff Creech has the headers, too- but I will try to get him to take some pictures and send them to me.

The headers have a little bit of rust of them- I got them in 2000, so they are five years old. What is your zip code? Let me check on shipping costs and I will let you know if that is doable. Thanks!

The heads are at Jeff Creech's shop in Durham, NC.

The shortblock is at HWT Performance in Hendersonville, NC, where my car currently resides. NL and Becky Hayes did the install and tuning of the 408 on my car. I am sure they will happily ship out the shortblock for me if I have a buyer.

I will answer these PM's in the order they came in- I currently have four to answer.

Thanks!

Question

Can someone help me post the pictures of the heads? I don't know how to do it, it keeps saying the file is too large and I don't know how to make them smaller. TIA!

How much horsepower can the shortblock reliably handle?
