After much headache its time to punt. Been trying to make 99 stuff work in a 98 car but after more research the serial data in the 99 won't drive most of the gauges in the 98. I can repin and make it start but guages will be dead in the water.

I need a 98 engine harness for a A4 and a 98 PCM does not matter if its for a A4 of M6. I will buy outright or a have a 00 harness and a 99 PCM that was tuned for cam and bolt-ons by Sean Freese when he had MMT.

 

I have the harness and computer, let me know if you're still looking.
