Katech's newest project: 2006 Z06 upgrade (updated 01.05.06)
This is a Katech customer's 2006 Z06 with 12 miles on it. It has not even been dealer prepped. We are pulling the engine, adding a few goodies, dyno tuning, reinstalling, then probably chassis dyno.
So far on the upgrade list:
Katech forged pistons 11.4:1CR then valve reliefs are cut so around 11.0:1
Camshaft
Tuning
I will keep updating this thread for all you guys with the latest pictures.
Enjoy

Nice! Couple questions: What will you be using to tune it? And are you going to put on Long Tube headers? Will you have before & after dyno #'s to report (that would be awesome)!

Hopefully HP tuners will have something ready by the time its being tuned.
Headers are undecided right now.
I will report the dyno numbers for you. I'm not sure if we're going to do the baseline though.
I have some other exciting horsepower news to report on a modified LS7. I'm hoping to post about that topic today also. Keep your eyes peeled for that.
