what kind of power did it make?

 

I currently have a TSP 228/228 114lsa cam....Is there anything i'd have to replace if i got that cam? Or would it just need a tune?

 

OdessitPashka - The car made 405 RWHP, but we later found out that my pistons weren't seated so that was with a significant compression leak. Most cars with similar mods were pushing the 435-450 range.

motorcycleMatt - Did you replace your valve springs when you put in the 228/228 cam? If you're on the stock valve springs I would recommend changing them out. This cam has quite a bit of lift and I'm not completely sure how much lift the stock springs can handle.

 

what kinda mods do you have if you were supposed to dyno 435-450 ?? My car did 405 with this cam and full bolt ons?

I have this cam with Patriot stage 2 5.3L heads and put down 436rwhp. Very nice cam!

TTT for ya, this is a very similar grind to my CC 230/236, excellent cam-only grind, and even better with heads. Trap 119-120 consistantly in my cam-only car.
