there is a difference... I just did somethin similar, and put a 98 TB on my 00, and it would only go to 3/4 throttle, and had a bunch of slack in the throttle cable.

all you do, that i have read? is switch the blade and cam out from yours to this one.

I thought there was more to it than that, but I'm not sure...thanx for the offer but I am going to hold out for a '00 and up.
