Someone stole my frickin' LT1 Blazer tonight :>(
A bunch of us from work went to Stanley & Seafort's restaurant in Tacoma tonight after a work group session at 5 PM and when I came out at 7PM no vehicle in sight. All I could see was broken glass and tire peel out marks in the grass where they took the vehicle curb hopping. So much for their seurity guard and my car alarm.
The pits is that I just finished swapping over the '96 LT1 motor that I had bought from Ryan K awhile back and got it running perfect
Not only did it have brand new 35x15.5x15 Thornbirds on 15x12 wheels it also has a $2500 competition quality killer stereo system.
I guess I didn't need to calculate the odds of seeing this vehicle again
Here's a pic of it just before the latest tires went on it

God that really blows, I'm sorry to hear about your loss . Was it insured for theft? That really sucks a lot, not only the value of it, but that must have been a good project and I'm sure you were proud of it being completed. How shitty, sorry again man

OMG! That really blows, John. I am really sorry. My biggest fear is to come out of someplace sometime and not find my car where I left it. I am so sorry. Car thieves rank right up there with the worst of the worst in my book. Cook all the crank you want but stay the hell away from my car.

Wow, that completely blows. I'm on the CK5.com board quite a bit. I'll keep an eye out for anyone trying to sell off parts. That is one sharp looking K5. Mine doesn't even hold a candle to that one. LT1 swap to boot,,,,, wow.
So they got it with the alarm set and everything??
Here is a dirty photo of mine. Love these trucks and I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Hope you can get it back!!

Just below hitting women, thieves **** me off to no end! Someone worked hard to get what they have and some no-nads decides to not work and take it from you instead.
Public hanging isn't good enough for these type of people but it would be a start.

Damn dude, that sux. Any chance you got to talk with the cop/s who took your report? Just curious if K5's are in vogue to steal right now or if yours was targeted specifically. I will keep a good thought for ya and my fingers crossed that you get it back.

Hey John,
I posted an alert on the CK5 regional section for ya. This board is huge so hopefully someone will see something suspicious and report it to you or the authorities.

Good luck man.

Damn John Im sorry to hear about that. Especially after you got it finished. Maybe someone you know might have taken it since it just got finished.

Thanks for the support guys. What really has made me sick is the thought that this could have just as easily been my LS7 Monte when it's complete.....it's just left me numb. And now the fun part of trying to establish "market value" for a 19 year old vehicle that has been highly modified with my insurance company!
Unfortuantely their attitude was "happens all day long everyday to a dozen vehicles a day"
Wow, what an awesome act Mikey, bless you brother!
Never say never but I certainly hope not since that would rank right up there with disin' somebody's daughter!
