Default wholesale direct = slow.

I ordered a set of rotors from them on the 5th and its now the end of wednesday and they still havent even shipped them. Also by the picture it shows slotted rotors pn 62055/62065 which is why I ordered them....but in the discription it doesnt mention this. Did I order non slotted rotors?

my only defense for them is, they posted a sale on a corvette forum and here at ls1tech, and got slammed with orders.

Also I know many people outside of the forums that ordered too.

Well I dont think it would be to hard to advise customers before they order that shipping may be delayed. I mean their prices are good enough to stop people from going elsewhere .....unless they have cracking rotors.

have you asked them why they haven't shipped? we encourage all members to try to work things out fully with the sponsor before posting here.

Got up with them yesterday. Turns out they have for a lack of better terms... a crap load of orders. I will hopefully have it by the 20th...which is still a really long time. Saying they were on back order would of been nice, but a week or two isnt going to kill me.

Well its the 20th now....and they still havent even been shipped. No email or anything. Im waiting for a phone call back from them now.

Here is my story:

Ordered drilled/slotted......received (1) week later these slotted ONLY: Called Brian 3/1/06 and said these fronts look horrible and got RMA (return authorization) for the fronts. Sent back to WSD on Monday, 3/6/06.

Called and finally got thru on Thursday, 3/16/06 and asked if replacements had been sent. Jon said he wasn't sure and would call me back. Called back and said were shipped out on Thursday, 3/16/06 and he would call me to confirm slotted ONLY on Friday 3/17.

Today, Tuesday, 3/21/06.....still no return call and still no rotors. So bottom line, I ordered these almost (4) weeks ago, and still can't seem to get a straight answer.

At least a courtesy phone call to confirm CORRECT items were sent would have been appreciated. Still trying to work this out, but at this point I am tired of getting a voicemail, especially calling to California from the East Coast. I genuinely believe they are slammed on orders, and are doing the best they can, but when $354.00 has been spent, and nothing to show for it, you kinda get antsy, especially w/intent of install at EOM (end of month)

Now I sits and waits for another couple days for delivery.........

Well I called them yesterday and actually got a hold of some lady. She told me that she couldnt even find my order in their system. Then she told me she was going to get up with someone else there and that she would call me back. Did I get called back.......nope. Well they sure didnt have a problem finding my money did they.

Apparently guys, Jon was out w/flu, and they are not only slammed busy, but also short handed due to illnesses. I chalk it up to bad timing, and now FedEx has re-routed my order for delivery Sat. 3/25.

For being Irish, where's the luck? (lol)

Well I talked to Jon today and he couldnt find my order either. He said that he would find out what was going on and call me back with in 45 min. Well 3 hours went by and no call back again. I had no choice but to cancel my order. Im sorry but its just been way to long to not even have a shipping date yet, especially when they cant even find my order. I was nowhere to be found in there system, except for the money they took. Oh well.

UPDATE: Called FexEx and they said my package was returned to sender.........WTF!

I am now going on the 5th week, and still no complete set of rotors! Can't say I will EVER order from this company again. Bad enough my order and the quality gets screwed up, but now this 2+ week delay all because someone can't put a label on a box correctly?

Seems the rotors were recalled by WD b/c they sent the wrong rotors! Now waiting to see when they plan on sending out the correct ones.

Geez.......what a nightmare!

Well, I have a set of WD rotors on my car. I bought them on a sponsor special last year about this time. The thing I heard over and over again before placing my order was be prepared to wait. It seems they do these specials and get so slammed that it gets crazy there. I went through the same thing you guys are going through last year so I know the frustration. I spoke with Brian and another employee there several times on my order. Obviously they are a bit overwhelmed/disorganized/understaffed, but I chalk it up to that, not that they are trying to rip anyone off. I just know that in the end I got the product that I ordered and they are still working great, no cracks, no warping or anything and at the ridiculously low prices they offer most times, I have to give them my thumbs up.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, and again, I believe their efforts are geniune. Just unfortunate timing I suppose!

I'll reserve judgement until I get my front replacements.

I went over two months without recieving my order and i live only 30 milies away. everytime i wanted to pick them up they had an excuse.
