Default !!!CARTEK Heads/Cam Shakedown runs!!!

Over the winter I had my boys take liberty with my car.

New Stuff:
CARTEK Ported me some shiny LS6 [243] Heads
CARTEK Custom Cam.
QTP 1-3/4 Headers
TSP X-Pipe & True Duals

Still have:
STOCK Short Block w/ARP Rod bolts with 62K Miles on it
STOCK Water Pump
STOCK T-56 w/ steel 3-4 Fork with 62K miles on it
CARTEK Clutch
Strange 12-bolt HD Posi [NO SPOOL]

3325LBS Race Weight

It was an awesome night. My first pass after driving to the track and changing tires was a 10.89 @ 127.46 with a 1.474 60’ That alone told me it was going to be a good day.

After a few runs of getting to know the new set up I went for broke!

Let me tell you, there is nothing like leting off the clutch at 6500RPM and seeing nothing but the sky!

Here are the best 3 passes of the night! I am car 8040

I cant thank CARTEK Enough!! This is truly an awesome street car. I drove to the track, changed the tires, ran 10.561 @ 129.14 on a regular street night, changed to my Street tires and drove back home. And in a week I’m taking the T-tops off and driving it down to North Carolina to visit friends! How can you go wrong?!

Thank You Thank You CARTEK!!!

I can’t wait for a rental day!

Nice. Cartek consistantly and quietly puts out wicked fast cars. Never heard of a weak one coming out of that shop. Can't wait to visit them when I move up to Dix.

Im guessing they don't have the best weather station equipment in the world. LOL The baro also goes from 29.4 to 29.0 in 10 min LOL

Here are some vids... The camera died after my 10.69 pass... was saying "Cleam Recorder Head" figures...

Please: Right Click --> Save As

This is first pass off the road, In-Car of a 10.89 with a 1.47 60' I was shifting like ***, still trying to learn the car:

I think this is the 10.69 with a 1.45 60' It's hard to say cause the camera's night shot, blows out the time clock:
