Default 9" posi problems

i recently purchased a 98 camaro ss. i love the car and am an avid camaro fan for years. the car is a six speed with a hypertech programmer, slp lid, hurst shifter, mass air mods, and the all favorite 9" moser rear end . the car has 4:11 gears also. for the first 3 days the car would pull posi just fine. now all of a sudden you can not get the car to spin both tires. the car had the rear when i bought it. does any one know what spline axles, and possibly what kind of posi unit the car might have.. with one tire spinning through first and second and just a little in third the car ran 9.07 in the 1/8 so any help would be much appreciated

You need to pull the center section and take some pics for us to see what it looks like. It sounds like you either got an Auburn or a Trac-loc posi in there since those two units are the only ones that go bad.

Good....I'm trying to figure out a good wheel tire combo to use at the track this season. I hope all is well up north!

Tracks are open but the weather is not good for spray just yet. I have been cutting some metal off of it and I have to do some wiring. Besides that I'm ready to get it scaled and check alignment. I have a track rental an Norwalk on May 8th so I might just take my time and bring it out then.
