Default !Side Molding

Thanks to the beautiful weather, I've been able to drive my car the last two days, and that ugly *** side molding has just been too much to look at. So rather than trying to "slice" with fishing wire, I simply took a pair of vise grips, pinched the moulding and pulled straight off. Now this didn't make pealing the glue off any easier. My fingers are sore...when the blisters go away, I'll get some pictures. But it looks MUCH better.

I'd do it, but the Firehawk decal on the door looks out of place without the moldings on to "frame" it.

I've seen !molding Firehawk photos.

Firehawks need the molding.

I used a hair dryer, but it didn't make that much difference, other than getting it started.

use hair drier and WEAR GLOVES PEOPLE. dang, everybody complaining about blisters and no one thinks to just put pair of mechanics gloves on or somethin. i had no blisters, an not even any soreness. but definately the best free appearance mod you can do.

It made mine look better. My Ram Air stickers were starting to peel so I pulled them off with the idea of putting more on but I liked the look. It makes the WS6 hod flow a little better IMO.

I had my side mouldings removed when the car was at the body shop. made a world of difference in looks. then the Trans Am lettering looked out of place, so away that went too. i love the smoothness of the side now. Im even debating removing the WS6 badge to clean it up more.
