Default TorquerV2 NIB and cheap ported 5.3 heads

I have a Brand New TorquerV2 232/234 595/598 113lsa. I have the cam card that is still attached to the box. I will sell it for $325 shipped OBO. That is over a $75 savings if you go thru TSP plus shipping.

I have a set of 5.3 heads that I am trying to just sell cheap. I had them checked and hot tanked for cleaning and they are milled .010 and have 60cc chambers. They are in perfect condition. These heads would work great with a small to medium sized cam in a daily driver. I put down 391rwhp thru manifolds with a 212/218 comp cam. I will let them go for $300 plus shipping. They were ported by Richard@West Coast Cylinder Heads. They come with valves 2.02 1.57s but no springs or retainers. If your interested let me know.

to be honest I am not sure. I ran these heads with a 212/218 .522/.529 comp cam with 1.8 ratio rockers and had no problem. That put the lift somewhere around .552.

I am not positive thouhg! I dont know how to do the math, I just know that .040 is a lot of milling. Have someone figure it out for you! I know anywhere near .600 would be too much, but not sure where the break point is.

I know theres a guy running 5.3s milled .010 with a .004 thinner head gasket and his 224 barely fits without piston dishes.

I have a feeling you're VERY close if not over.

it'd be the perfect time to flycut the pistons........ more flow, compression, and run nearly any cam you want. My pistons were flycut .125 and a good shop in decatur has cut his that deep, and i know a certain tuner with cut pistons, all running fine

You can't just say oh it has .600 lift it won't work, it all depends on where the valves open and close at.

Are the heads really 5.3 heads milled .040", or are they just .040" mill when compared to a stock head? I know 5.3 heads are like running a .030" mill as it is...

Well i had the heads checked and the chambers were 60cc's. i know the stock 862 heads are 61cc. for every cc you go down it is like .006 mill. correct me if i am wrong. so i am thinking that maybe they are milled .040 over a ls6 head.
