i have a 4 channel housing with a 3 channel posi, 2 sets of 3.42s both used, no axle shafts, and the posi is possibly bent

yea i know, its big hunk of ****, but im trying to get rid of it

 

I am looking for one that has no issues.

 

What kind of noise?? On decel? Speed?

I bought mine busted and had it rebuilt with a set of 3.42's for under $300 total. A busted one might not be so bad as long as the posi is ok.

 

THere's some whine under a slight load... nothing under full throttle. Its in the car still if you want to come down and go for a ride. I was planning on ordering a 12 bolt... Just havent made the call yet.

16k miles and absolutely quiet.

 

Is that going in the 8'sec hot rod.Are you going for the fastest nos car?

Last year I learned alot about high compression LSX engines and nitrous.

This year it will be in the 8's on a conservative shot. As far as a record... if I

made it a goal I'm sure it would I'll get it to the track and then we will see.
