Is that a 930? I saw it says widebody in the title but are those factory 930 fenders, or a turbo-look car, or just an N/A 911 with fenders installed?
Looks unbelievable regardless.
My dad wants an FRC, and will probably end up dumping his '79 930 for it if he ever bites the bullet, but the Vette just doesn't have that street machine look of the widebody.
Also, is the 2700# number with an NA motor, or a turbo setup?
If you have a lot of details about the car when it was weighed (mods, fuel) I'd appreciate it!

These are the types of projects that I love. Even old school SBC's make awesome cheap and simple Porsche engines. The LS1/2/6/7s should be even better for alot of reasons, especially their light weight. A 930 turbo engine weighs more than LSX engines. German chassis' engineering and Detroit Iron (aluminum and plastic in the case of LSX engines) make great combinations if well executed. This guy looks like he knows what he is doing.

would be really nice to see the weight distribution (front to rear) for the before and after! just to see if the weight s moved back at all! hopefully not as the extra cc of the LS would make it a cracking drive!
i will look into the weights of the old Porker engine (inc the turbo if i can find).
thanks Chris.
