Default FS: TR 224/224 cam

Thunder Racing Custom Grind Cam. 224/224 .563/.563 112 lsa. Less than 15k on it. Went from 327RWHP with bolt-ons to 350RWHP by adding the the cam. Untuned BTW. So there is a lot of power in this cam. Very streetable, got plenty of comments on the sound it gives to my car especially with a cutout. Asking $250 shipped. I'll pay up to $10 in shipping. That should take care of shipping to most places. Here is a little video I did shortly after the cam install to let you hear what the cam sounds like.

I would say it is a mild cam. Just enough to have good power gain at the wheels and also good enough to use as a daily driver without paying for some major tuning. All I did as far as tuning is I raised my RPM to about 850 to keep a good idle on cold days. The most popular cam for a modded bolt-on street car in my opinion.

I love this cam, but I just installed some heads and I will not get full benefits of the heads with this cam. I'm not going too big though. I'm looking to buy something more like a 230/232 or 232/234 with around .600 lift at 112 lsa.

This is only approximate #'s. 1. Two different dyno's. (see cardomain site page 2) 2. I ran a Jet stage II PCM the first dyno and not during the second. 3. No tune yet. runs rich.

Not every car will give you the same HP gain. I'm sure you know that. A buddy of mine with the same car, same mods with a smaller cam put out 380 at the wheels. I believe alot of it has to do with how the car accepts the different combinations of the mods that are installed.
