what does the Slp V-6 plug in timing module do? also will it work on a 2000 firebird?

 

it tells the computer that the air outside is colder than what it really is & so it bumps up the timeing a degree or two so it makes more power,& yes it will work on a firebird as long as it is a 6 cylinder!!!!!!!!!
