Default Who runs boost with the LG5X3 cam?

I currently have LG5X3,FAST90/90,Kooks/Patriot stg2 66cc's. I know that my motor will only last so long with a stock bottom end. So I figured I'd just put a Vortech S-Trim with 6.5lbs of boost on it till it goes. Does anyone have similar experience and how much boost did you run?

Al

Your probably gona bleed off a lot of boost with that cam, so its probably a good buffer for your stock bottom end

Are all the g5x3's ground on a 114LSA? My buddy has a freak 'hawk that put down 633RW with QTPs, electric water pump, that G5 cam with a 114LSA, and a P1sc on a stock longblock... so I don't see that the cam will be a problem...

Yeah he's got the golden car though Here is some video from last season of the tech race at MIR with him running mid-10s in the blistering heat of the day on stock 10 bolt and 6 speed which, by the way, lasted him a full season and was changed out unbroken. You can see how well that G5X3 worked with his last setup

The video is 29MB:

Here's the dyno board from the local shop. You may recognize the other top 2 as well

How much psi was that red Firehawk running? Very sweet vid.

I've got a cam in the 230 range and my Incons are almost done. The idle sound (chop) was similar to mine N/A... I've got a 236/236 112 LSA.

Thanks ~Joshua

I don't know exactly, and I don't think that Adam did either ...somewhere around 11psi though.

That's a monster cam you have there I'd imagine they'd sound pretty similar.

Here's a pic of his car from the day of the video that I've always liked...

Good times for a 6-spd and that wheel/tire combo, I know I wouldn't be able to drive it so well... Here's a short video of what I believe was his best pass last year: http://www.frozenwaste.com/Frost/RPM/adam1048_lrg.avi
