Red face

I know I'm starting to sound like my father.... now I know what he was getting at years ago.

"Just drive the car, you already have over 300 horsepower."

You will feel the cam or gears, or convertor for about 2 days, then the $ hundreds would have been for nothing.

Hell the 421 rwhp was feeling a little sluggish, it never ends. Now look at me, I've dumped 8 grand into this blazing money pit with no end in sight. I havn't even bolted on the turbos yet and I'm already thinking of a forged 382 with more boost.

well i just dealt with a dumbass nieghbor runnin out in front of my car saying hes gonna burn it where it sits, threatening me, tryin to fight me and ****.. clearly im the victim right!!! wrong he calls the cops after i leave his house in a cloud of smoke and told them i tried to run him over (attempted murder pending). then he changes his story like 5 times in front of the cops and they just look at him like hes a jackass because he is, my parents have been here 26 years and we have never had a problem and he just moved in from colorado and thinks he owns the place... he'll learn quick considering my buddy with 700hp and 1100lb torque with his duramax diesel came right after me and did three times the burnout i did!!! ha ha!!! such an idiot, he dropped the charges and said he is putting his house up for sale, he said i tried to run him over, and he told the cop he was standing by his mailbox when i did the burnout and the cop (with big wad of dip in his lip) says, your mailbox is 20 feet behind the burnout buddy, get a life.... i really think this guy is bipolar/compulsive liar.. it seemed as if he belived his own lies, and hes the one that came runnin out in front of me swingin his arms i just stopped cause i thought his house was on fire or something and he says im doing 80 mph with a stop sign leading to a main road 30 feet away, yea buddy! i couldnt get up to 40 coming or goin from his house

I look forward to the posts on tech and the many phone calls I'll receive during the install.

Charlie, I'm glad for ya, it'll be some work but turning wrenches in your garage is what makes owning these cars fun.

Here's tip #1: inspect with a small screwdriver that the piston is actually at top dead center before you take the retainer off.

Tip #2: make sure you have the rod all the way in to hold up the lifters before pulling the cam out.
