Default Cam, Springs, Retainers

SOLD to JeepinBash!

224/224 .581/.581 112 LSA cam with XE-R lobes (800 miles). Cam goes for $375 new.
My price (-25%) = $280

CC 918 springs (800 miles). Springs go for $170 new.
My price (-25%) = $125

Titanium Retainers to go with the springs (800 miles). Retainers go for $275 new.
My price (-25%) = $205

Seller Prefered Package Deal
(save additional $35 + shipping) = $575 shipped

Total savings: 30% OFF NEW!

All you'll need is pushrods and you'll be running low 12's on stock heads...high 11's on ported heads. Parts are in excelent shape sitting in friend's garage with orignal packaging. Looking to sell together as stated above. That should cover everything. Incase I missed something, please PM me with any other questions.

*EDIT* Maybe I wasn't clear. The prices are what they are - not OBO. I'm not looking to split these up right now. Please don't PM me and say I'll give you $100 shipped for the springs. I think the prices are very fair - especially considering the parts only have 800 miles on them! I negotiate all day long at work and it's the last thing I want to do when I get home. I gave my pricing. I'm not trying to be rude about it, but I swear some people just aren't reading anything but the title.

*Please PM me or JS99Z with any questions.
**New pricing referenced from www.ls1speed.com.

No headwork was done on my friend's heads. These were installed on stock '99 heads and ran fine for 800 miles. The car went 12.40's with a TCI SSF converter, stock gears, and a shitty tune @ full weight. Will have pics soon.

Parts were removed for a head/cam swap. He just wanted to go bigger on his weekend toy. Weekend toy is stretching it though. I walk more miles in a year than he puts on his car. I hear tons of people say this is an awesome daily driver cam. Manual cars can usually get this to run on the stock tune - although I highly recommend a tune just like everyone else. All you really need to support it is a few bolt-ons. Like almost any other cam...the more you allow the engine to breathe, the better the cam will perform. As for idle, if I can get his A4 to idle as well as it does with the bigger cam...a manual car with this cam should be cake. The icing on top is the sweet-*** lope that comes along with it. Pop in the Internal Engine forum and search a bit. This is probably one of the most well-known cams that people drop in their LSX motors....and by today's standards it's somewhat mild. If I wasn't selling my car, this cam would be going in this weekend....and I drive mine 40+ miles a day back and forth to work.

I had this same exact cam in my 01 Z06, except on a 114. ( i wanted a cleaner idle) This would be a great daily driver cam & ideal for a Z06 with stock heads. I made 389 to the wheels. The 112 should make you a few more HP with just a hint more chop at idle. Good luck on the sale

Thanks Scott!

Someone has to be interested. This package is is like the "Happy Meal" of the LS1 world - everyone's had one at one point or another. Just an all around great cam that should pick up a solid 35rwhp.

TTT...

TTT for revised pricing. The numbers at www.ls1speed.com were a little more competitive than my original reference. I also took an additional $10 off to make it an even 30% off the cost of new parts. LMK if you're interested!

It's a mild cam, which is great for a daily driver. Aggressive head and cam packages usually add ~100rwhp. This is just the cam. What did you expect? Other than nitrous, there's nothing you can buy (bang-for-buck) that'll give you another 35hp for under $600. Hell, headers and a catback will set you back $1000.
