Default ?'s about a Dry Kt

ok, i am finally read to go the nitrous route now that i have the other mods out of the way on my 02 SS A4. Before someone gets pissed and tells me to search, i have searched and i am on the verge of buying a Cold Fusion Pro Dry Kit http://www.nitrousdirect.com/corvett...rous-kits.html so i would like to know for sure. My questions concerning a dry kit are:
1: Can my stock injectors and fuel pump SAFELY handle 100Hp shot? 2: With my mail order tune, will the computer/maf be able to instantly/safely make the appropriate adjustments for timing? i keep hearing something about getting it retuned to pull a few degrees...but i also hear that up to a 100 shot and it (computer/maf) will take care of itself and adjust as needed.
3: Can someone please look at the link for the kit above and honestly tell me WHAT else i would need if anything (filter, window switch, etc.)

I really appreciate the help in advance guys, o and i know i need to buy TR6's...where should i get them from and at what gap??

Stock fuel system is fine for a 100 shot, even a 150 thats what i shoot, computer, maf is fine but if u got a tuner go ahead and take 2 degrees out, you need nothing else, use it upon full throttle and hold on lol. Gap the plugs at 40-45 thousandths and you should be fine get them at a local speed shop or jegs/summit. HAPPY SPRAYING!!!

We speced the kit for the lsx platform. There is not a better more complete kit out. Quality, cost and completeness. really all you need is a WS. Check my personal web out in the links section for how to pull timing in tune only while spraying, works only on a dry hit (also mucho other dry stuff). Good choice of kits, and yes you should be fine at 100hp, I always suggest logging parameters though for ultimate safety. IF I can help in any way let me know.

thanks Robert...what is a WS? Also, what is the difference in the Cold Fusion Pro dry kits between the one for the Corvette and the LS1 cars? I looked at your links and saw 3 different links for timing...which one is it u are talking about?

WS is window switch.

Dif in the kits is 15 vs 10 pound bottle
Pro has the FPSS and Blow down tube
Bottle gauge included in the Pro kit
and the pro is dual nozzle vice single nozzle.

Dont forget the other goodies you will need like a heater and the filter as you indicated in your first post.

Just be careful. Check with some other vendors also before you make your purchase.

Really, the only difference is marketing. Just split things up per vehicle, to make known what kits will work. It was actually originally speced for the vette/f-bod and ls1/ls6 platforms. But certainly works on many other applications.
Here's the link for timing pull, it's second from bottom.

my god Robert...that stuff is Greek to me. Thanks tho. I dont have any software or data logging capabilities or LS1 Edit. I have a mail order tune on which i am sure my timing is advanced. At this point, i guess i am not worried about my fuel system keeping up but my timing and if i am going to ping/detonate when i spray.

Yea, the timing advance may be an issue, wet or dry. Maybe the tuner can tell ya how much was added. You can also use a timing tuner window sw, it'll pull timing for ya and do the window chores.

Will the MSD digital window switch do that?

The the MSD window switch is just a window switch. I was on the DynoTune site last nite and noticed they are going to stop carrying the MSD Digitial

MSD Digital RPM Window Switch (710)

Note: Due to quality and supply issues we will discontinue selling the MSD window switch. Please see the DynoTune Two Stage RPM Window/TPS Switch, product # (711). This is a much better value and performer!

Cheers
