Default L76 intake is in my hands!!!!!

UPS just came and dropped off the L76 intake. Nice looking piece. Seems to have very long runners. The runners have a nice taper to them.

I'll have the L92 heads early next week.

DO I SOUND PUMPED?????

Nice! Make sure to get a before and after dyno so we can see what these heads/intake can do! Also, what vehicle will this be going on??

This setup is going on a new 402 so I won't have before and after #'s. My current H/C LS1 makes around 460-470 RWHP. It's speed density tuned - not dyno - so I really don't have exact numbers. Car doesn't see any tracks except from the bleacher area and as long as the tune is perfect, I really don't plan on putting it on a dyno...although I have to admit I'm going to be very curious.

I'm going to do a little bowl cleanup and then have the heads flowed with the manifold and exhaust in place. Then, I'll probably figure out a cam. The engine will be NA with no NOS and run 11:2 static compression. This is for a M6 C5 vert with 3.90's. Just something for running out a picking up the groceries.

Should be fun.

Don't touch the heads unless you know what you are doing with a pitot tube. A GOOD valve job will help them out and the ports as cast are the best OEM out there so just leave them as is and run them. I know they will make some killer power.

Do they accept LS1 or LS2 style injectors? Would my LS1 speed inc rail bolt right up to the intake?

They accept ls1/2 injectors. Not sure about the fuel rail though. I'll measure it out this weekend.

Curious to see a comparison between the AFR 225/FAST combo and L76 heads/intake on a 402. Wouldn't be suprised if the L76 combo makes more power.

I thought that the LS2 injectors were shorter and fatter?
