Default Origional GM SS hood, 3'' electronic cutout

I got a 00' black super sport hood that I'm looking to get rid of. It was painted and on a car for maybe 1500 miles, no imperfections. I will post pics later today. I am asking $700 plus shipping, would prefer local pickup to avoid packaging and shipping.

I have a cutout brand new from qtp, not even opened. They go for $156 online plus shipping I will sale this one for $135 shipped.

I have a 9 inch gear out of a billingsley fabbed 9'', they claim that they use a lightened motive ax gear but motive says they dont make one in a 4.11, billingsley doesnt give any customer service either so......... 4.11 ratio, has about 1000 miles on it if that. Does anyone know what may be going on with the gear? I know the lightened gears are twice as much.

May want the electric cutout, I need to go measure and see if mine is a 2.5" or a 3" first. If you still have it tommorow afternoon(saturday) then I may buy it if its the right size.. I'll measure in the morning.

Just checked my summit racing order history and it says I ordered a 3", but I still want to double check and make sure since I remember havign to call them and get the order switched to a different size after I placed the order.. Been a year ago so I cant recall, but yea, more than likely its 3" I need! I'll let you know either way!

Oh, btw, do you happen to know where I can find the wiring diagram for the cutout? Is it a simple on/off switch, or will I have to use their switch? Reason I ask is i'd rather use my own switch if possible haha, companies always give you those cheap red ones that look like crap.

Thanks again, payments sent,

I got your payment, and since this cutout goes both closed and open it comes with a double pole double throw(i believe) switch that has a light on the top for each direction. You just hook up voltage and ground.

Added pics for the hood, I will ship cutout money thanks.

Awesome, thanks for the info.

Nice looking hood too! Too bad it isnt pewter.. my sister's got a camaro and she'd love that hood. Though it wouldent be very fitting for a 3.8l camaro to have that hood haha.

I would much rather drive a bit and meet someone rather then trusting a shipping company not to damage it.
