is pump very loud when it was running?

 

Honestly I never though it was that bad. Mount it with some rubber mounts and take little extra steps to making it quiet and it will be fine. The voltage regulator/speed controller for the pump also helps to keep it quiet!

 

very interested here, but curious as to what the 2.5' piece of -8 is for?
