How complicated is it too hook up.

Do you have to mount it on the windshield?

 

It is not complicated at all, you do not have to mount it on the windshield, although I would assume if you dont mount it there, you will lose most of the radar detection properties fo the device. All you do is plug it in to the cigarette lighter, and read the instructions- on how you want it to display normally. I have it set up in PRO mode, but only because I didnt like a lot of light in the car at night.

 

If only it were blue...
