Fresh LQ9 370 Shortblock Forged! Cheap! I need to get this shortblock out of my garage. I parted out my Camaro and I don't have the time or resources right now to put it back together. I've got a new garage going up and I'd like a little extra money to put a lift in it... Which is where this comes in.
LQ9 Iron Block 4.030" Bore
Copper Block Ring "High Horsepower Applications"
Wiseco 4.030" Low Compression Dish Pistons
Eagle H-Beam Rods
Brand New Clevite Main/Rod Bearings
Brand New GM Cam Bearings
ARP Main Studs

This shortblock made 624/678 on 11psi with pump gas on a 70trim Turbo. Before I tore the car down I had a PTE76GTS Turbo on it which supported nearly double the power the 70trim did. I ran 17psi with it on a regular basis running near max duty cycle on my 60lb Mototron Injectors. Never took it back to the dyno but it was a huge seat of the pants difference. No telling what it ended up as. Coupled with LS6 Patriot Heads the compression was 8.5:1 as it sits. With LS1 Heads the compression would be around 9.0:1. 5.3 Truck Heads would bring it up a full point to 9.5:1. The end ratio is widely dependent on the top end you put on the block. I didn't want to let this block go but it's time. This is absolutely the perfect low budget high horse shortblock out there. PERIOD. All the machine work was done by a reputable shop in Rainbow City, AL. The same place they make Patriot Heads. The block was torn down, freshened, and stored for reuse in the future, which is where it's sitting now. All the LSx blocks share the same block dowels for tapping holes to mount accessories but the trucks mount some accessories differently than the F-Bodies. The situation has already been dealt with on this block. The holes are there and it's ready to bolt into any F-Body.

Bolt on your factory heads and hit it with a poweradder!
