Default FS: 1999 F-body HPP3, Tesla G-Tech Performance G-Meter

I have a Hypertech Power Programmer III for 1999 Camaro/Firebird/Corvette LS1. Allows user to change shift points/firmness (A4), Change rev limiter, Remove governor (top speed limiter), Change cooling fan on/off temp, Change speedometer/odometer for different tire sizes/axle ratios, and customize ECM tuning. Comes in original box with manual and OBDII cable. All parts are in great condition, ready for a new VIN. Asking $125, I will pick up UPS Ground shipping to continental states.

Also have Tesla Electronics G-Tech Accelerometer. Measures the following:

0-60 MPH time to +/- .1 Second
60-0 MPH braking distance (feet) to +/- 2 feet
1/4 mile Elapsed Time and Trap Speed to +/- .1 Second and +/- 1 MPH
Horsepower to +/- 3HP
Instantaneous G's to +/- .02G
Continuous G's to +/- .02G

All above tolerances are as quoted in user's manual. Please note this measures speeds and times differently than a track would. For example, the 1/4 mile trap speed will be instantaneous at the 1/4 mile mark rather than averaged as it is at the track. This g-meter has very high accuracy, and is a good way to evaluate "before-and-after" mods when all other variables are consistent.

Includes manual and cord w/ 12V plug. I have lost the original box and the 3 small rubber "cushions." The rubber cushions can be easily and cheaply replaced. The unit itself is in perfect operating condition. I am asking $40 plus shipping. If anyone is interested, please email me at Acura_NSX_Sucks@yahoo.com. I can provide pictures if necessary on all the items.

Thanks,
Jason

It's the original one they came out with. I think I bought it in 2000 and it hasn't been used since then. Just been sitting in a box in my dresser

I have one of these, I have used it at the track to measure against the track times. The most it was off time wise was .04 (4 hundredths) which is pretty damn close. Everytime the gtech read slow. So it does not "inflate" your times. As said above the MPH is read completly different.

Yeah, they are pretty accurate. The one big thing to remember is to make SURE you have a flat, smooth road to use it on. Since it uses g-forces to make all the calculations, hills and even big bumps can upset it pretty badly. Then again, consistency is the name of the game, so as long as you run the same spot every time, it'll still allow you to see increases or decreases in performance. It may not mirror the times at a track, but for before-and-after mods it's a pretty good tool.
