Default FIRST WARHAWK BLOCK BUILT and RUN.

Well it sure took awhile (our fault) but the first Development Warhawk was built and tested by the crew at E/T Performance in Walled Lake, Mi.
As reported by Eric at E/T, all went well in this preliminary stage of testing.

The numbers; 440 cubic inches-4.185 x 4.000. 16.0-1 compression. A cam over .900 lift. Of course a great pair of E/T heads flowing 430 near max lift. Normally aspirated. Seven pulls, 860 HP @ 7500 RPM.

Eric reports that at 4.185 there is .065-.070 sleeve left which is what C5R comes with at 4.125. Engine had nominal temps and pressures at this power level. E/T intends to test to at least the 1200 HP level after PRI.

You can see this engine at E/T's display at PRI or contact E/T for more data. A big THANK YOU to the E/T gang.

If you mean to detonate.............there are several factors in that. Octane and compression are the top ones; head chamber profile, timing, piston profile, and A/F are the others.

Now we're talking! put a 4.125 stroke crank in that thing FTW.... and make 900 on motor

There will be, a great deal more 8 and 7 second lsx cars in the near future, this confirms it.

Congrats to World Products and ET heads!

I think it will be well over 900 on motor once they spin it up to 9500 as proposed.

aah... didn't know that part. Probably over 900 in that case. That's the only way to really put the priority oiling for the mains to the real test.. spin that bitch to the moon..... why stop at 9500 LOL, go for the gusto, 10000!

As proposed? 4.125" stroke @ 9500rpm = 6531fpm piston speed

World Products,
Care to clerify plans on this engine before the rumor on the internet is that it spins to 12,000rpm and makes 5000hp.
