New GT500 v. Procharged TA
Since this was in Texas I thought it was fitting of the Texas section. Here is a friend of mine's GT500 putting the smack down on a Procharged TA.

I can guarantee the car is procharged. I know both cars, and have seen them both. The GT500 has a few tweaks and not sure on the exact mods on the TA but i know it's a built motor (blew the stock) and low boost (claims only 4-5#). It was exactly the result i was expecting to see.

Might but he was talking lots of smack about how he beat the GT500 a couple weeks ago so the rematch was set and the results are clear I rode the the GT500 and 20-150 didn't seem to take too long. I love that car, little heavy but nice.

**Edit** Also this isn't a racecar. This is just his street toy. For more serious business there is a big single turbo fox in the garage lol.

I hear you on that...reason why i pulled the flag, because a procharge ls1 would hold up pretty good, espicially if its a BUILT motor to handle boost... if the gt500 pulled him that bad,, that TA should be in the 15 sec league, dont you think???? i dont blame ya ,but im just not buying it...(my opinion)...on top of that i could not hear no exhaust on the TA,must be the quiestest procharger TA in the state of texas nevertheless nice kill for the gt500

Yup, local race to me..
The Trans Am has a built motor, lower compression, blower cam..D1 procharger only at like 4 psi (why I don't know..) with the supporting mods including a higher stall torque converter..etc.. I believe, i'm not sure on everything 100%.
The GT500 has a one step smaller pulley, CAI and some tuning.
