I'm very interested in it. I've never used an autodarkening. Do you ever notice any flash when you start your arc? I've heard some will hurt your eyes over time.

I never used it, so I cant answer any questions regarding use. I know people who have and it is known as the best. Black with flames.

I just talked to a guy who uses one said it's so quick you never see any flash.
The box states it has a reaction time of 1/20,000th of a second.

Bump for a good helmet. I have the same one just a diff. paint design. 2 years of use and drilling rig abuse. Its been beat on and covered in drilling mud and still works like a charm.

Thanks bud. Can't wait to get it. I've got quite a bit of welding to do on this project and I've been wanting a good helmet for a while!
