LS1 forged internals, heads/cam, shortblock
Ross -4 cc pistons 3.905 bore on Eagle 3D H beam rods with the ARP2000 rod bolts $900 About 2k miles on these but are cleaned up and look good as new. SOLD
98 LS1 shortblock (spun rod bearing I believe) $250 picked up SOLD
Stage 2 5.3 heads. Crane dual valve springs good to .650 lift. 63.5cc
$900 One combustion chamber has a few small nicks but I had it checked out and won't affect anything.

cylinder walls still fine? I need a block with good cyl walls for my forged build. I can pickup, im from IL and i will make the drive, haha. One could say, i like road trips. heh. I am serious, let me know.

If the heads are off, just rotate the crank manually and inspect them. What was that nature of the engine failure? overrevving? miss a gear, etc?

Sorry I did not see your post there. No it is not. That shortblock is still together with the stock internals which I believe to have a spun rod bearing as stated. My apologies there.

Even better, this way it can get a little bore/hone to accomodate my new forged goodies! Im pretty much locked on this, just want some verification that the cyl walls arent scratched. Turn over the engine by hand and inspect is all il need. Otherwise im going to be rather upset that i drove 1000 miles for pure junk,haha.
