Default HPTuners for sale! Credits for '01-'02 GM Truck. USB Wideband

I've got the newer USB version of HPtuners for sale. It's got the credits for 01-02 GM Trucks (will tune all 01-02 GM Trucks, not VIN specific). If you want to use it on something else, you will have to buy credits.

Its the EIO model with the hookups for the wideband.

It will also scan just about any late model GM vehicle.

$500 including shipping to 48 states.

email me at david_a_waters@yahoo.com

I'd prefer paypal.

price lowered to $400. I've seen them sell for $500, but I'd have to find someone with a truck for it to be a good deal for them.

So this is V2? And this will tune any LS1 car once I buy more credits for it? And is this upgradeable for the unlimited credits aswell for LS1's? Thanks

I'm not sure what V2 is. It is the USB EIO version. Yes, it will tune whatever you want if you buy credits. I used it on my 01 GMC, and 05 LS2 GTO. Its also got credits to tune one 05 GTO (only my VIN number).

So that's 6 credits for any 01 GM truck, 6 credits for any 02 GM truck, 2 credits for my 05 GTO.

$50 per credit. 2 credits to tune one vehicle. It won't save you a whole lot of money unless you have a 01-02 GM truck.

whenever you buy a package like this, you contact hptuners, give them the license number, and the ownership is transferred to you. with that, you get access to the latest version.
hope this helps.

Yeah, that's probably the best thing to do. It will cost you $99 to get updates. I can probably download the latest version and put it on a cd so you could wait to spend the $99 until you had to have the updates. I believe $99 just gets you a year of updates just like when you buy it new. At least that's how it used to be.

You may have better luck posting it over on PerformanceTrucks.net, if you want to target the truck market.

actually, dawater,
i think it does not cost anything to get the software updates.
you have access to them for as long as you own the software, or whomever has ownership.
to "upgrade" is when you have to pay, or to add vehicles.

if you want LS2s, then you need to upgrade to the MPVI.

No, it will do LS2's. I already upgraded it for my LS2 GTO (MPVI). I bought it initially for my 01 GMC truck. And you're right, I just found out that you don't have to pay $99. You can just change the account info to another owner on the website (name, address, password, email address). Its got 16 credits--6 for any VIN 01 GM truck, 6 for any VIN 02 GM truck, and 2 for VIN specific 05 GTO (only my GTO). You can buy 4 more credits to add to my 2 and tune any VIN 05 GTO.

I figured it up, and I've spent close to $1000 on this setup.... I thought earlier that it was only $7-800.
