I just need some advice on my system wiring. This is my plan:
First Stage: 3200-6500rpm
Second Stage: 3600-6500rpm with first gear lockout
Shifting at 6650-6800 (Don't know until the dyno results...) or so with shift light set-up 50rpm before shift, rev limiter at 7000 just to be safe...
Here is the diagram...
The only difference from the diagram is that I might put the FPSS's on the ground coming off of the window switch...
Thank you mrr23 for the diagram I modified to fit my needs...
When at the track I can arm it and use it normally, but let's say I only want to use the second stage I should be able to hit the master arm switch (while leaving first and second stage switches off) and rev it to the limiter. This way the window switch should think it's been through first gear, I should then just be able to select my first stage, second stage, or both to activate in first gear. The same thing being true if I were on the highway and wanted both stages, I should be able to hit the master arm, rev it to the limiter, and turn on both stages so they both hit without one waiting for the next gear...
I would like to not have to change any settings on the window switch at the track or on the street since the car will see a fair amount of both...
Any input would be greatly appreciated, I just want to make sure I can get it right the first time.
