Dyno -Dynojet Vs Mustang Does anyone have any back to back dyno sheets from a Mustang Dyno and a Dynojet.
Just super interested in the comparison between the two and what the printouts look like.

Re: Dyno -Dynojet Vs Mustang I recently dynoed a new ARE H/C package on my 2002 Firehawk. The rwhp difference was 19 with the dyno-jet providing the higher reading. This was an A4 car with a Yank 3500 stall unlocked. Dyno-Jet rwhp was 402.2. Power curves were very similar.

Re: Dyno -Dynojet Vs Mustang i have a mustang dyno...usually i find that the sheets from a dynojet are about 5% higher,they are also smoothed...those are the sheets you see in magazines. dont get too caught up in dynojet v mustang...try to use an operator that can repeat tests back to back with the machine available.

Re: Dyno -Dynojet Vs Mustang My Dynojet numbers are in the sig below ... My Mustang numbers, interestingly enough, were almost exactly 5% lower at 315/345.
... but as said before, just use 'em as a baseline to see what your mods do.

Re: Dyno -Dynojet Vs Mustang thanx for the backup...it doesnt really matter which style you use..its more important to stick with one style and one operator,unless you are turbocharged...on my mustang i can load the car enough to get instant boost,something that dynojets cant. by the end of the month mine will be portable...cant wait to bring it all around the midwest summer '03 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I was most interested in the graphs of the same car on each different dyno.
not so much interested in peak numbers but how the horsepower at each rpm compares.
