I've got a 2002 SS with the gray painted 10 spoke wheels and am wanting to get a spare set of the gray plastic stock lug nut caps (or several at least). I expect that many sets are setting on a shelf after the stock wheels were replaced with something better. I'm keeping my SOM 2002 stock as much as possible and it seems that these would be good to have as "maintenance" items. My e-mail will be the best contact as I don't get to the forum much these days. how many do you need?

 

I've got six that are partially split and I figure are due to "spin off" at the slightest provocation. You cannot tell looking at the wheels/lugs/caps on the car. I expect that they were over tightened at some point in their history. I'd take a whole set of 20 if you have them and want to get rid of them or what ever you have in mind. When I had the 2001 SS, it also lost a few after a tire rotate and balance at GM and back in 2002 I bought a bag of five new ones for about ten bucks for the whole bag. I suppose that GM probably wants $5 a piece now. Mine are the painted 10 spoke wheels so the caps are a light gray/silver plastic.
