Default No code, but "TCS OFF" light won't go out

What causes the "TCS OFF" light in the gauge cluster to stay on all the time?

And the orange light on the TCS switch is out.

Is there a fuse somewhere for it?

Nothing at all, its just dead. But the gauge light stays on always, from start to shutdown.

In the fuse box under the hood--on the drivers side in front of the wheel well.

Thanks, I'll check. If the fuse pops will that make the light stay on in my guage cluster?

if the computer is detecting misfires (like with a new untuned cam) it will cause this...I get the same effect if I try to hit the button while idling with my new cam just installed. Check for misfire codes/etc.

Yes. The light stays on in the guage cluster any time the TCS is off or if the fuse is pulled or blown. I've never figured how to make it go out except to turn TCS on.

My TCS OFF light is always on and I know its not the fuse. When you pull the fuse the light won't turn on until the car starts moving. My TCS and Cruise control do not work but my ABS does... So I'm not sure what the problem is. Everything looks good but my TCS switch has been tampered with. Still doesn't explain why I have no cruise control hmmmm.

Do you have the original computer program or Bcm in the vehicle? It may just be shut off in the calibration. The bin files contain that information as does the BCM/ ABS module.

I'm sure this is just a little gremlin in my situation, but I thought I'd tell ya all what I did today.

I simply removed my TCS fuse, it was just fine so I put it back in. Started it up and the light was out on the guage cluster and the TCS light was illuminated normally. Drove around all day today and the TCS OFF light is out and the TCS works perfectly. I turned it on and off a bunch of times and its back to normal.

Who knows.
