What year engine are these from?

If the rods and pistons are decent, mainly the rods, I'll take 'em.

And where are you located? I'm in Paris, KY.

It's not known exactly what year this shortblock is. I know it's LQ4 cuz it's got dished pistons. They are in excellent shape. The whole shortblock was. A couple of the rod bearings show slight wear, but otherwise very sound. I just finished disassembling the motor today and main bearings and the cam looked excellent. I am going to run 4" bores, cuz it just needs a cleanup hone. I am in Monticello, well be passing through Lexington next Wednesday and Thursday. Otherwise I can ship these out no problem.

Yeah... Stock 6.0 bore is 4.00". The block is in that good of shape. I'm not doing a 370 (.030" over).

I guess I was aksing why you aren't going to re-use these?

Anyways, if these are indeed from a 6.0L truck block, maybe 1999 or newer, consider them sold. If we can meet up great, if not we'll get some hipping deal figured out.

Oh yes! Definitely a 6.0! I can look at casting numbers if you like but I'm not sure if I could match them up with any info. I can definitely say it's a 6.0 as it's stamped on the block and I can also definitely say it's an LQ4 cuz the pistons are dished. The LQ9 had flat tops for a higher compression ratio. The main reason I am not using these is cuz I don't know that they would last long pumping air from an 80mm turbo. I am going to be using Callies Compstar H beam rods with JE boost pistons.
