Default Greetings and question

I just picked up a LS-1 from a 2002 Camaro SS. It came with a few things I won't be needing one of which is pictured below. Just for a little back ground, I am putting the LS-1 into my 944 turbo track car so while I can rebuild and or fix anything on it, I'm not familiar (yet) with the chevy engine. Anyway, if anyone can help me identify this part it would be appreciated as I want to sell it. I think it's some kind of TOB, but not sure.

Thanks in advance.

Already there my friend . . . . bookmarked 5 articles/threads last night.

The really funny thing about this whole project is that my first engine rebuild and project when I was 18 was a 1968 Camaro RS with a 350/350.

Looks like no matter how much things change they really stay the same

Welcome.
I apologize. I posted first to get help identifying the part. It was only after I tried to list some other parts for sale that I came across the "for sale posting rules" As a result all of the other parts were placed on Ebay Saturday right after I read the rules.

Thanks for pointing this out. I know that having a forum as successful as this requires rules for the benefit of all.

Looking forward to being part of this group.
