If anyone has a stock tensioner i am in DESPERATE need of one, please if anyone has one let me know ASAP. Thanks

i just checked napa's site, tensioner is $62, the pulley by itself if $18

do you know its the tensioner for sure? it would be a waste of money throwin parts at it.

I agree with Rich. Make sure it is, and if it is fact the tensioner, check the junk yards around you. I think there is one not too far down 83.

does anyone have one that i could possibly even borrow to just try to make sure that that is what is wrong? Cause i honestly dont even know what else it could be..

hey Jake i had that same problem on my T/A i changed the tensioner out and the problem was solved. I have one but i think its the bad one. I bought mine from Thunder Racing. I went throught two belts and 1 wheel b4 i found out the problem . Belt slipped off lost PS and tapped the brake and went right into a curb Sorry i woulda responed soon but i missed your first post

ill have to replace the tensioner i guess then and see if that solves it.

Make sure your belt is not worn out or anything and just slipping off. When I had my old belt on at WOT it would slip sometimes. Would not come off though. got a new belt at fixed the problem.

Are you sure the belt is not streched? Did not get oil all over it or anything?

its a brand new belt i put on and its still doing it.

Is the LT1 and LS1 tensioner the same?

I've got one I can get out to you for really cheap if it is.
