LPP is a new sponsor on LS1 Tech

We are making remote bleeders for the clutch. With this bleeder you can run it up to the engine compartment or out under the car to bleed the clutch. It also has a speed bleeder on the end so it's a one man operation to bleed the clutch. We are only getting top of the line parts to make them. One of the problems with making them is getting the fitting for the slave cylinder that will seal and not leak since it's not a machined surface. We have found what they call a bonded washer that will seal under high pressure to use on the fitting. We have also found a sealant to use on the threads that will not break down from the brake fluid. This provides a double seal for the fitting. We will be selling them for $75 with Free Shipping. i just bought all the stuff from summit and made it myself. same exact thing... if u can find 2 people to do it it only cost $50 each. but if u dont have some1 else that needs 1 then id go this rought. its only cost effective if u make 2. nice product. ttt for ya.

 

And for anyone that wants to jump in this thread and be the first to say that such and such person sells them for "x" this is your first and only warning. We have a sponsor selling these now and that sponsor puts up some $$ to promote that product here so comparing prices with a non sponsors bleeder will not be tolerated.

I thought that the line had a pin holding it into the slave and an o-ring. Do you have any photo's of the setup and seals you are talking about?

 

That's the fitting for the master cylinder line the bleeder screws in.

 

Yup, dragged out the service manual and found it. Have you guys installed on a Vette, do you have routing and where to put the end figured out?

 

They wont work on a vette it has to have a 90 coming off the slave. You can route it any way you want to where ever you want it.

It may work on a vette but I'm not sure if the line will bend enough coming out of the hole.

I have one of these, I bought it from a sponsor of another forum awhile ago. It's a GREAT product, especially on a Vette because you have NO chance of getting to the bleeder. Hope you sell a ton, they're worth it! I don't think running it back along the torque tube is a good idea though, esp. right where it goes over the exhaust. Heat causes the fluid to break down, and granted its ALOT easier to change now, there are better places you could run it.

 

I've been touting these things for a while...it makes clutch bleeding so much easier. I'm sure you'll sell a lot...maybe you should do a demo video to post up here on LS1Tech to show it off. That way, people will understand just how easy it is.

 

Where do you get the bonded washer and sealer? I ended up ordering a different one for the Vette because it does require the turn. Not sure I like the seal at the slave though.

I have a remote bleeder and it is awesome. I put my mityvac experiences behind me and started fresh with a new master and slave and bleeder extension and have had no problems since - definitely money well spent!
