1998 Bright Metallic Purple convertible 406 RWHP $13000 in Houston Texas
Selling my car. It was 1 of 42 purple convertibles ever made. It currently has 79000 miles on it. The car has been 12.8 with a 1.9 60ft. time, before the cam install and a LS1 intake. It was estimated to go 11.9 to 12.1 now.
I just had a bunch of worked done on it at G force. The list includes: Comp cam, 240 244 on 114 LSA, LS6 oil pump, double roller timing chain, com cam push rods, comp cam double valve springs, power bond pulley. Dyno tune at 406 to the rear wheels. Cam and everything has about 200 miles on it. Also installed prior to install was a LS6 intake with new 99 and up knock sensor, LS6 MAF, and PnP tb. Had Trans built 3000 miles ago with a 2000 stall and trans cooler install. Also install UMI LCA with bolt on relocation brackets, Adjustable PHB and TA. Also has 1LE rear coil springs. These part have 3000 miles on them.
Now for the old parts: Kooks long tubes with ORY, Borla adjustable exhaust, Bilstiens front struts with eibach springs, MTI air lid with KN filter, MSD wires NGK plugs, battery relocated to the back, C5 chrome wheels with nitto 555. 17x8.5 with 245/45/17 on front and 18x9.5 with 285/35/18 on back. Back has about 5000 miles on them or about 90% tread left. It has a custom Wolf roll bar installed and tied into the body. The tonneau cover will come with the car and is painted the same color. The interior has Recaro seats installed and a combo of leather and cloth. There is a rip on the drivers side The carpet was replaces about 6000 miles ago. There is also a aftermarket heads up display that i have installed on it. Please don’t PM me about this unit. The maker is Defi VSD Basic part number DF03205. There, for those who wanted to know.
Parts that are not installed: Yank 3200 stall, factory suspension parts, original tonneau covers and the back seats.
There are no running issues with this car. There are a few cosmetic ones that need to be addressed. There is a long scratch on the drivers side. It is noticeable if you are right on top of it. It was like this when I bought the car. I choose not to have it repainted so if I ever did sell it, there would be no reason to assume that it may have been wreck and that’s why it was repainted. Also some clear coat is coming off right behind the passage side door at the very bottom by the ground effects. This is also not very noticeable. As for everything else, it worked as it should. The a/c blows cold and everything is electric. If you have any questions, please PM me or email me. The car is located near Houston Texas in Dayton. I am leaving for Denver on Sunday, the 5th and will be back the following sat. So if you want to look at the car, it will have to be after that. I’m asking $13000 but as always, if you want to make me an offer, please feel free. I’m am looking at some NSXs and would like to sell this first, but I don’t have too. I thin it will go to eBay in a few weeks if there is no interest here. I sure I left something out so I will update it as I remember. Also I will post some pics soon. Thanks Josh
