Default Scorpion roller rockers?

In the latest issue of GMHTP. Direct bolt on no changing pushrods, guideplates or rocker studs or valve cover mods required? Full roller rocker.

Any thoughts on them. Anyone tried them?

How much are they??

Only reason I'm askin is b/c if you can get a spare set of stockers for cheap & send them to Harland Sharp, they can rebuild them & reinforce the bearings for $250+shipping. They say if your not needing or wanting to change from a 1.7, they are about as good as it gets for a direct bolt in replacement with aftermarket performance. Gaurenteed to never fail.

I know some of these aftermarket rockers sell for quite a bit more than that & some people have a hard time gettin them installed correctly. With these its exactly like puttin stockers back on. Just something to look into & think about.

They look cool as ****, but you won't see them anyway. Not sure about the power.

I have read they have an excellent and narrow wipe pattern and are light over the nose, never seen data to back it up though.

They seem to have near perfect geometry for the average .600 lift cam right off the bat when just bolted in which is more than I can say for most of the aftermarket rockers. They are very nice from the three sets I have used so far. They are also still fairly light like stock as well.

Erik,

Do these bolt in like a shaft rocker or do they use guide plates? Also, do you know if they are made in the US?

They are like a Ford pedestal rocker with an alignment rail. They even use teh Ford shims for adjustment if you need them. I am not sure whether they are American made or not?
