Default Corsa Knockoff?

Does anyone have these tips on their F-Body here?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Exhau...spagenameZWD1V

I bought a set for my Caddy and they look and fit great. I want them for my '98 Z28 but I'm pretty sure that the TSP Rumbler exhaust has bigger piping than my caddy. Here's the sizes of the tips.

*
Inlet Diameter - 2 3/8"
*
Outlet Diameter - Dual 3"
*
Overall width - 6 3/16"
*
Overall length - 9 3/4"

I will probably need a reducer. Is that a good idea?

Here they are on my Cadillac. I was lucky and found them from someone who never mounted them. I only Paid $40. I won't mind paying $99.00 this time.

I've never seen those on an fbody. I have considered doing that in the past, just never got the cash. They would look great on your car. Go for it!

Many people are running those tips on fbody's. I have seen them in person on a Sunset Orange WS6 and they look really good for $250 less than Corsa tips. They aren't quick as big but still look good. Any muffler shop should be able to stretch the inlet out to make it fit your pipes.

I got a set from JustAnIlluzion that are same size replicas for $135 shipped. Not sure if he's got any more. They look sick IMO.

hey, glad you like them

just to be clear, my clones are exactly like the real thing, same diameter outlets for that serious look and full stainless steel(not chromed), and not tiny like the ebay clones that have been around for a while (and are on that caddy-looks nice btw)

^^^ You're right, those full size ones do look a bit better than the clones I've sold 50+ sets of.

I've been getting $110 shipped, and my personal set on my Firehawk look like new 2 years later.... you did good on finding that source, those new clones are ****.

Which shop in the bay area did you go to? I'm actually thinking about replacing my Hooker tips with some Corsa clones, and it'd be easier to just get them directly from the exhaust shop than buying them online. And how much were they?

Werd question. By adding the tips does it make it louder or just look better?

They don't make the car louder, however if you had big truck tips (ugly) it would change the type of "blat" coming out... but it won't make them louder....

These tips are similar to stock sizes so it will sound about the same..

2000KnightRider I don't make 'em... I just sell 'em at almost zero profit. (Pm)

They look pretty good but if you see a side to side comparison with real corsa tips there's a considerable difference but if you look at the prices side to side there's a very considerable difference.
