FS: 3.42 10 bolt rear end ASR/TCS Up for sale is a 3.42 rear end originally from a M6 Trans Am. I just removed this from my car yesterday. It includes the housing, 3.42's, and torsen posi. Everything is in working order and drove fine while it was installed in my car. All you will have to do is swap some of your parts over and it's ready to go. I will say that this rear has the traditional leaky pinion seal common to many 10 bolts. Nothing major just a small stain under the rear where I park regularly. I think this rear end is pretty quiet, the only sound I have ever heard from it is a slight whine on deceleration. Just trying to be as honest as possible about the condition of this rear. I have decided to swap back to my stock rearend. I bought this rear so I could have a spare when I used to daily drive my car. I now have a trailer so I no longer have the need for a spare. The rear end is located in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. This is about 10 minutes east of Destin. I will not ship this rear due to its size and weight. I am willing to meet someone within a reasonable distance. I frequent Montgomery and Birmingham Alabama and could meet or deliver to someone between here and there. What you see in the pictures is what you get. No backing plates, no cover, no axles. This is a ASR/TCS rear. Check my trader rating
