Default FS: Jet-Hot LS1 longtubes

I have a set of 1 3/4 Jet hot longtube headers with stainless steel y-pipe for 1998-2002 LS1 Fbody. These are the headers made by Jet hot that are a copy of the hooker design, of course they are coated. They have 3 bolt flanges at the end to attach to the y-pipe, and are currently in an offroad type configuration (the emissions stuff is blocked off).

I am looking for $375 and will have some pictures hopefully tomorrow, but they are in good condition and made really good power on my '99 Z28.

With a stainless steel y-pipe? If you can get them for that new then by all means please do so, these arent pacesetters... I just looked it up, showing $499 for the headers and $239 for a y-pipe that isnt stainless steel.

Would you consider selling the headers seperately?

I would really rather not sell them seperate, I have no use for the y-pipe and it would be a tough sell without the headers im sure.

Well if you got them with a y-pipe for $400 brand new then you must have some kind of hookup, I checked 3 different major retailers including searching ebay, and I couldnt find any version of this header for less than $499, WITHOUT a y-pipe. The only reason people post things like that is typically to shake the price down, there is never any good reason to just throw some random price out, ESPECIALLY if you have no interest in buying them.

I am not making any money at that price seeings as I paid more for them, I am just trying to recoup some money since I sold the car. How would you feel if I came on a thread where you were selling stuff and randomly posted a price that made your price look like you were trying to rip people off?

You know very well what you were trying to do, so no I couldnt leave it alone, if you actually bought them for that price new then good for you, but myself and many others paid the regular price of $499 (or MORE since that was the LOWEST price I could find anywhere on the web) for them. I WOULD NEVER post in someones thread with a price I didnt have a link for to show how much I paid if I was going to throw some # like that out, and I only expect the same kind of courtesy from others. Would you accept my apology for something like that if it cost you a sale or made you lower your price since I "suggested" what you paid for it new? HELL NO you wouldnt and neither would any other sane person in the world.

Let me put in a way that might be easier for you to understand since common courtesy escapes you, lets say your selling your car at $15,000, and you have a potential buyer at your house talking a deal on the car, then I roll up out of nowhere and say you paid $12,000 for it since thats what I "remember" paying for "allegedly" the exact same car, think thats not gonna **** you off and potentially have some effect on your sale?? I will be sure and apologize and expect you to accept it and move on without saying anything else.......

Am I carrying this too far, probably, but everytime I see someone do something like what you did to anyone else, it absolutely infuriates me that people have no common courtesy. Now if someone is blatantly overpricing something they deserve it, you will NEVER see me blatantly overprice anything as I always research the market before I even come up with a price to sell something for.

I will accept your apology this time since I feel you might have understood my new explanation, rediculous attempt at humor with bucket picture notwithstanding. I am actually an easy going guy normally, there isnt many things that cause me to go on rants like that, you just happened to find one of them. No hard feelings...
